There are some places and scenes that heighten the senses and
foster a special state of mind. Often these places are in nature, where light and color combine to create the transcendent.
The scenes I paint are some of those which have sparked my visual sense and provided me with a moment of grace. I try to
capture that moment through the alchemy of paint.
